Note our technique when travelling through locks with a narrowboat
- as we were much faster we would leave the lock first and be in the
next lock and held tight in to the side by the time
the narrowboat arrived. With experienced crews this was the most efficient system,
otherwise our light craft would be blown about while waiting for the others.
